Colorado Concealed Carry Permit
The four fundamental safety rules, safe handling practices, proper storage methods, and child safety requirements. This foundation applies throughout every live-fire exercise.
Purchase and transfer regulations, lawful concealed carry requirements, transportation rules, and how to conduct yourself during law enforcement encounters. Covers both state and federal statutes.
When deadly force is legally justified, threat assessment, de-escalation tactics, the distinction between duty to retreat and stand your ground, and the real-world legal aftermath of a self-defense event.
Supervised range time covering safe handling demonstration, grip, stance, sight alignment, trigger control, and controlled shooting exercises. Meets Colorado’s state CCW qualification standard.

— Checklist —
What to Bring
Semiautomatic pistol preferred, any caliber. Must be in safe working condition. If you do not own a firearm, contact us — we can discuss rental options prior to your class date.
Bring at least two factory magazines for your semiautomatic pistol. Arrive with them empty — you will load under instructor supervision during the range qualification.
100 rounds of factory ammunition in your handgun’s caliber. Lead core only — no steel case or tracer. Ammunition is available for purchase in our store if needed.
Eye and ear protection required — rentals available at no charge. This is a full-day class: bring a sack lunch, snacks, and water. Dress for the weather and wear closed-toe shoes.

Includes classroom instruction, live-fire range time, and your certificate of completion. Everything needed to apply for your Colorado CCW permit.
